As a Substitute Teacher, Capital Area Intermediate Unit, I taught a variety of courses in mathematics and science in several school districts. As an adjunct Chemistry professor (Shippensburg University 2007 to present) I was the primary instructor for a section of general chemistry laboratory course as well as a section of chemistry for non science majors.

In college, I tutored grammar school, high school and college students in various math and science courses. Subjects included algebra, calculus, chemistry, and physics. In graduate school, I trained graduate, medical and high school students in various lab techniques and concepts. I also played a large role in managing their laboratory projects. I believe that learning through hands-on experience is the best way to fully comprehend material. I want to interest students in academics.
