A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style includes using the strengths of the interests of the child in teaching. To aid my child to read, I used his favorite card game (Yugioh) to aid him. I am hands on while teaching. I make sure that the learning is not boring. I will use card games to aid in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. I use a combination of words plus visuals to aid the learner. I will write down the formulas or work out a problem for the student so that the example can be followed on other problems. I use acronyms for teaching as well. I also use these aids to help with memorization of facts.
I have completed my Bachelors and Masters degree in Accounting. At this time, I work with disabled clients to help facilitate their inclusion into the community. We are required to complete 17 hours of education each year relating to the laws and regulations for the services o ... read more

My teaching style is to go head on with my students and to address every weak point possible. It is crucial to understand how the student both feels and interprets information. If a student does not seem to comprehend using a certain teaching method then it is imperative to find a different way to present the course materials. I have been very successful with my teaching methods and have received continuous high marks in classes instructed,(can provide student feedback documented by ASU if needed).
