My comments on tutoring Political Science : Political philosophy, which is a component of political science, is one of my interests. During high school, I memorized several passages from Thomas Hobbes' book Leviathan.

My experience with these subjects comes from my educational background. I have studied them all during my pre-college years and have also expanded my knowledge and experience during my time in college. While in high school, I completed several mathematics courses, including several semesters of calculus. I also embarked on a course which was interdisciplinary in nature and covered all required subjects not included in mathematics and science. Since I have been at college, I have participated in my university's honors program, and an interdisciplinary program in the honors college.
I try to clearly explain topics and concepts to others, avoiding making assumptions about what they might know or not know about the subject or topic. I enjoy working with all students and have tutored students for the past 4 years in the AVID program. Additionally, I tutored and served as a writing to coach to high-school and college students during my off time. My focus is helping students understand how to aptly address course assignments, how to structure and assemble essays, term papers and research papers and how to decipher themes and motifs in classic readings for assigned papers.
