Through my educational studies and life experiences I have gained a firm grasp and appreciation for Mandarin Chinese and Chinese culture. Furthermore, I am a gifted teacher and wish to share my knowledge of China, as well as other subjects like music, history, and art, with others who may find some facets of these subjects to be challenging. Mandarin Chinese - I use Total Physical Response Teaching (TPRS) when teaching elementary aged novice learners, which teaches Chinese as well as American Sign Language.
History - I teach history using the many multi-media databases that I subscribe to each month.
Musical instruments - patience and hands on. I ask the student what song they want to learn and start learning the first lesson.
