A Little Bit About Me...

My experience, (both academic and work)has been widely varied, ranging from research and engineering to financial management in a corporate environment, followed by golf course design and landscape management. In addition I used my experience in construction and woodworking to build and market patio furniture. Unfortunately the housing depression of the mid 2000's caused the business to be non profitable and was closed. Since 2005 I have been semi retired and used my construction experience to work at a lumber and hardware store.

I have worked with students through Jumpstart (an AmeriCorps program), as a youth camp specialist, and as a after school program coordinator at an elementary school in Naples. I am currently working on a graduate degree in School Counseling. I believe that helping youth succeed to be their best is very important and must be a priority.
