I have been teaching since 1986. I have taught in the healthcare field through a Vocational Technical Institute, University and Private Education Center. I am currently applying for the Master's Program in Education at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. I hope to begin in the Fall. My teaching style is a collage of teaching styles. I am well aware that students retain and use information in numerous ways. Sometimes, I facilitate from the side, allowing the students to take hands on control with the information, at other periods, I might lecture on the topic and then question and discuss issues provided from what was just read. One just has to be acquainted with the learners' style and then the subject, lesson plan, and displaying of information can be customized more suitedly, to the student. Any student can learn, they just have to have the information provided to them in a manner where they can retain it and make it useful.
