Chess: My teaching of chess can either start with the basics of the game or with in-depth tactics and strategies. I am a proponent of the romantic school of chess and focus on studying the old masters of the game. Violin: I will be teaching classical violin but practice will be integrated with folk music. I recently graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a B.S. in environmental science and a concentration in sociology and anthropology. I have served as the editorial assistant for the Applied Environmental Education and Communications journal for the last year and a half. I have also worked as a research assistant in the West Office Chair of Excellence in Communications and Public Relations under Dr. David Sachsman.
