I enjoy helping students learn the concepts of mathematics/statistics and helping them to understand how to use these concepts in the real world. Math can be quite challenging, but with the right amount of effort, patience, and guidance, anyone can learn. I know this because I've tutored students as young as 12 and adults as old as 30. I enjoy tutoring and helping others to learn how to solve challenging problems. I believe the best way to learn is peer-to-peer learning. As an auto-didact I have the study skills necessary to regurgitate information as taught by the current institutional models. This is an uncreative and highly unnatural way to learn. There's a reason no major discovery was made in a classroom -- true innovation, discovery and learning is an organic process. I'm a student at Augustana College whose academic record has ranged from public school to home schooling to community college and and even private education.
