My motto that accompanies me in everything that I do is "There is no limit to perfection." And in my teaching practice I am trying to combine verbal, visual, practical and explanatory-illustrative methods. I believe that in form of interaction between pupils and teachers, where teachers and students interact with each other during the lesson, and students are not just passive listeners, but active participants in the lesson, we can achieve bigger success in teaching and learning the material. I believe if we can integrate content with cross-curricular themes and skills such as writing across the curriculum in all subjects, not just during the language arts block, All students can access prior knowledge and reframe their thinking when appropriate. One of the first graduates of a dual degree program from Lesley College(www.lesley.edu),I received a BS/MEd in Early Childhood Education specializing in Early Intervention in 1999. Beginning in June of 1999, I raised my three children full-time. During that time, I worked part-time as a Therapeutic Mentor for PSC of Maine(www.provcorp.com). PSC is a behavioral health agency that serves at-risk school-aged children and their families.
