I have tutored many friends and family throughout highschool and college and my teaching methods have spoke for themselves. I like to teach at that learners pace and let them start what they are good at and develop their knowledge from there. I am very active in answering questions and like to be a visual teacher since I am a visual person. I like to take a step by step approach to math and accounting because that is the easiest way to learn. A Little Bit About Me...

After receiving a degree in Sociology from a New York State University, I went on to earn a provisional teaching certificate in Biology. I have twenty-one graduate hours in Reading and eleven graduate hours in Early Childhood Education. My previous work experience had me working with families where one adult was in need of a GED. I have tutored students from elementary through high school in every subject (except Foreign Languages) for over ten years. I have also worked with entering BOCES LPN students on math review and raised many of their entry level grades twenty points. I have also been very successful tutoring children with behavior problems.
