I show the technique or concept, and then give the student a chance to practice and demonstrate that they understand. The student learns best when they can find or develop the answer themselves. As an Early Childhood teacher, I have chosen what I believe to be a very important position in society. I have both a BA and a MED in Early Childhood Education. I have taught school for 27 years. During these years I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten,1st grade and specialized reading in grades 2-5. I have taught students in large classes, small groups and as individuals. I am a patient, understanding, and considerate person. I love the sight of a child learning something after a person takes the time to show the steps. At the moment, I am unemployed throughout the week so i can meet with a child/children whenever they need me.
