As the first in my family to go to college, I had a high drive to achieve my goals of obtaining my degree at Grand Valley State University, as well as studying abroad in Tokyo, Japan. In addition to my wide degree of historical knowledge, I also served as an independent English Conversation tutor in Tokyo, Japan while I studied at the International Christian University.
I am a very hands-on instructor, being heavily influenced from the Montessori education I received. I try to make the subjects fun for them. For example i bring out cubes, candy, or fruits for math problems so they can visually see the mathamatical problem. If its science I try to make 3D projects so they can better understand, for example the solar system.
