I have been teaching children of all ages in many settings for the past 6 years. I have worked with students of all levels and helped them be successful. In college I tutored elementary through college students including English Language Learners, in various subjects. I have also helped and taught in the classroom, mostly in small groups or one-on-one. Through my work as an aide at an elementary school I have learned the standards for each grade and am familiar with the curriculum and methods used, especially for the lower students who I work with. I believe that learning should be fun and effective. It is important to me that students enjoy the discovery and challenge of learning but that they also learn the discipline and perseverance that will help them continue to grow.
