A Little Bit About Me...

I have just graduated high school, and have just finished thirteen years of learning. I have ADD, and have had a semester's worth of interning at the Specialized Language Development Center, working with kids who struggle with reading, writing, and comprehension. Kids brought to the center are usually dyslexic, ADD/ADHD, or have some type of learning disability, however, those without disabilities come for help too, ranging from kindergarden all the way to college level students.

With more than 15 years' experience as a newspaper reporter, I have served on the staffs of local and niche newspapers. I have literally covered everything under the sun, ranging from covering a draft horse competition to writing a feature about a former Ku Klux Klan Grand Dragon member. In my spare time, I write freelance articles for national trade publications and design jewelry. I've been designing jewelry for nearly as long as I've been writing. I absolutely love to write. I've been a professional tutor throughout the entirety of my collegiate marathon--a lengthy 5.5 years--and have worked with a variety of different students on thousands of diverse papers.
