A Little Bit About Me...
My teaching style has been part lecture, part class discussion, part in-class assignments, and some cooperative education, with the more advanced students being leaders in groups of 5-6 students. I enthusiastically guide and encourage my students to learn about literature, grammar, history, and the finer points of public speaking. I have received nine teaching awards in my thirty years of being an educator. The excellent teacher will learn from her students almost as much as her students learn from her: the subject matter may be the focus, but interacting with others and accepting their differences is very important in a wonderful education.
