I have done assistant teaching for my professors at Concord University. I helped set up laboratory equipment, answered college freshmans' questions and provided reasons for why certain biological processes occurred in Biology 102. I only did it for two hours per week, but I learned how to cooperate with college students and provide my insight of biology.
I had no exact teaching method. However, I was able to answer simple questions and allowed the students to work on their problems by discovering some of the ideas themselves.

While pursuing a double degree from the University at Buffalo and working part-time, I worked in peer tutoring groups for Latin and writing. I have experience proof reading papers and correcting grammar. My four semesters of college Latin have given me a understanding of English language origins and modern usages. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a rare gift of being able to impart practical examples of academic principles. In one experience with a former student I explained calculus in a way that she could relate the rate of change to a physical experience in a way that it came alive.
