I have homeschooled my children though 9th grade and have taught American history. I am currently teaching my son the Great Depression and World War II. I love history and enjoy teaching it through reading historical novels as well as watching historical documentaries and talking to people that lived during that time period. My teaching style is very hands-on, involving pictures, manipulatives, and tactile modalities. I like to use a dry-erase board to demonstrated concepts as well as allow the student to practice.
