A Little Bit About Me...

I really like working with children from low income families. I think each child has a different interest and way of learning. I try to discover these learning styles before I begin the tutoring process. I try to allow them to be comfortable and having fun during our sessions. Most of the time I do a lot of question/conversation responses to allow them to find the answer for themselves. I like a problem based learning style, even for the youngest of children. Because I work with students from such varied backgrounds, I believe that the best method is one that allows for flexibility and at the same time incorporates lessons from several fields at once.
