French lesson with a french tutor!

Would you like to learn French? The best way is to have a real French tutor! I'm from France but I moved in Aiken two years ago for my husband's job. For two years, I studied a Technical Degree with a French Institute. That way, I could still read and write in french so I could never loose my native language. I never been a tutor but my skills in French will allow you to learn this language correctly, and I believe that is the most important thing.
My teaching style will depend on your level in French (beginner, intermediate...) and your goal (improve your written/oral, take a certification etc.) We will play games to give you more vocabulary or we will do some exercices or we will listen a french radio... That's up to you!

My strongest area of expertise in teaching is reading. I have taught it for years. I have come to the conclusion through both personal experience, observation of other master teachers and through current educational research that it is most necessary to teach reading and math daily in a systematic manner while exposing the students to a learning rich environment(a classroom reading corner full of books is ideal for this). Most of my professional teaching experience was with Lexington/Richland School District 5, where I substituted and taught General Music from 1997-2008. During that time I worked with students from Pre-K - 5th grade, and I enjoyed interacting with each age group. One interesting thing about teaching music was how the lessons often carried over to other subjects, so that in music class we also worked with math and science (music theory), reading (song lyrics), and social studies (music origins and styles).
