I was the Fundraising Chairperson, Luau Food Chairperson, and eventually the President of the Hawaii-Pacific Islanders Club. My Bachelor of Arts in International Relations comprised of reading and writing-intensive courses that focused on subjects including history and political science. Anyone can be taught anything as long as they are sincere in learning that thing. There is no one style of teaching that works for everyone. Any teacher worth their weight in salt would know that you have to first understand the student in order to teach them. Sometimes the teacher will need to teach the student how to learn.

I have taught ESL at my church and enjoy helping others to overcome perceived barriers to learning.
