Teaching comes second nature to me. I believe that all students can learn, but each person requires a different style of instruction in order to fully understand the subject. I provide multiple kinds of instruction while keeping a patient and easy going mentality. It is my goal to help each student not only come to understand the subject, but be able to apply it in real life settings. This type of teaching can make a difference in each of my students' lives. As a University of Connecticut graduate, I was very driven by my passion for the sciences. I earned a BS in pathobiology with a minor in molecular and cell biology. I was a well rounded student which has afforded me skills in math, psychology, and English. I have worked as a rowing coach for many years and have the patience and drive to help you reach academic goals.

I have a passion for children, I strongly believe in educating the younger generation due to the fact that they are the future. My philosophy is every child can be academically successful; however, one needs to know and understand their ways of learning. I am easy going, patient and friendly in fact; many consider me as an older version of a child. My objective make is to make sure that my students are a success. I have earned an associate degree in Criminal Justice/ Forensics science, at NVCC as well as my certificate in the legal program at Training Direct. I am a senior at the University of Hartford pursuing my Bachelor degree in biochemistry. I have been served as an intern with the CT Judicial Branch Superior Court in Waterbury and enjoyed this experience. I have tutored students in French and mathematics during the past three years.

After graduating college I taught elementary K-8th grade in NYC. I taught for one year and decided to live Paris, France teaching English. I lived in Paris, France for 1.5 years then moved to Rome, Italy, again teaching English. My experiences were wonderful as I met people who really enjoyed learning English and needed it for work. After 6 months I returned to the states and taught at a Junior High School on the Lower eastside of NYC. I left teaching after 10 years to market computers. My skills as an educator served me well and I did extremely well. After approximately 8 years I decided I wanted to go back to teaching, and have been teaching the use of computers.
