I am very patient. I enjoy teaching and explaining. I believe hard work and dedication when accompanied by understanding and explaining, math and sciences can be very enjoyable. It is a great reward to me to improve students understanding and to be part of their success. I have always been good in math and sciences. I enjoyed teaching my friends and classmates. For this reason I started by tutering math courses at the University of Tenessee Knoxville. I enjoyed teaching and math was easy for me. My teaching style is entirely dependent on who I'm teaching. I try to prod and ask leading questions, while also looking for how it is I can relate the subject matter to the student. I consider it a failure of mine if I am ever forced to recommend a student memorizes something that they ought to understand on a deeper level. I consider it a great success and point of pride when I find a new way to explain a concept to someone who couldn't relate to it in the same way I do. I have earned a BS and an MS in Aerospace Engineering. My most recent coursework was focused on Aerospace Propulsion systems- work which relies heavily on my background in Math, Physics, and Chemistry. I have always been a teacher at heart. It was often to the detriment of my own homework completion rate, as I would be much more interested in both solving the problems and helping my classmates understand how it worked
