I realized my passion for teaching after working in a daycare for two years and organizing their preschool program. I have seven years working experience. I have worked as a TSS and in a special needs classroom. I have experience with visually and multi-disabled children, working with autistic and downs syndrome children, and basic sign language skills. I have my BS degree in elementary education from the University of Pittsburgh. I love teaching children and I learn from them as much as they learn from me! I am taking a class in my Master's program in which I have learned six different educational methods to use with students. Each method is different, and I have been able to learn and work through each of them. I am confident in my ability to concentrate learning through cooperative groups, presentations, direct instructions, problem based and discovery topics, concept lessons, and disscusions.
