My personal style of learning is to learn by doing. I get my students involved in any process and get them to actually do the work so they learn it from experience, not just reading about it and taking for granted they know what is going on. Seeing the steps in action and seeing the final result brings a sense of accomplishment, which helps a student learn the correct way of doing whatever it is they are trying to learn.
I have lead many training sessions dealing with a multitude of different topics. I do my homework, and make sure I am fully prepared before any training session. All children can learn, but it is my job, as a teacher, to figure out which learning style suits each particular child. Once you find that learning style, I always find that the students enjoy learning. Learning can be (and should be) enjoyed. I want my students to know that there is not just one set way of doing things. I am also a firm believer in positive reinforcement. Children are so important and shouldn't be overlooked or neglected. I have a heart for children, and that heart has grown larger now having three of my own. I believed we have to cultivate their minds with positive influences and make learning fun and interactive.
