After completing my graduate program and student teaching at Latham Ridge Elementary School, I became an aide within the same building. This position lent itself to filling in maternity years the following year. I was then hired as a sixth grade teacher and have been in that position since that time. I take a more hands on approach to teaching as I know that everyone learns in different ways. I believe in language acquisition as compared to simple memorization of words and grammar. I like to bring my own cultural knowledge into instruction as well. I believe anyone can learn Spanish. It is a very useful and relevant skill.
