My comments on tutoring Social Studies : I am going for Social Studies Education for Bachelors.

I have worked with the hearing impaired students for three years VIA Tulsa Community College Work-Study. The subjects I have work with them are Reading and/or Math. Started March 2014, I am working with Broken Arrow Public Schools as a Substitute Teacher. This may be some elementary classes; but, mostly Secondary level.

I began as an education major at the University of Central Oklahoma before switching to Oklahoma Baptist University. I have worked with children in a professional setting since 2004 in church, non profit, daycare, early childhood, and preschool settings. I value education and find it to be a crucial and vital part of child development. I have tutored autistic students, as well as taught preschool for 14 months both at Saint Dunstans Preschool and Holland Hall College Preparatory School.
I believe teaching is about learning instead of the outcome.
