Having a bachelor degree in an educational field, an MBA, and 8 years of various "real world" experience that includes both retail and project management gives me an advantage when teaching. While in college and afterwards, I built a studio of music students that placed in the top two seats in Florida All-State bands, various regional student orchestras, and All-County bands. I also tutored disabled students at the University of South Florida in writing skills. I held a composition writing component to the Teenage Pregnancy Prevention Program at the Training School Boys. I taught ESL for the Cape Verdean Community Development Center in Pawtucket. I also taught GED classes at the Woodlawn Community Center in Pawtucket.
I have recently learned to incorporate meaning-centered philosophy (Viktor Frankl) to my teaching with a Portfolio methodology.
