I worked as a legal assistant (financial, transactional) for 13 years prior to law school and after obtaining my JD - Cum Laude, I completed my BSLS requirements. I have taught Civil Procedure I and English as a Second Language at the local community colleges (legal assistant program and adult education program). A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that teaching should be a collaborative process. The first step is to listen to the child and try to gain a sense of their own learning process. If you understand how the child learns, you will be better able to help him or her understand new concepts. I believe tutoring is invaluable in this regard, since it provides individual attention. Most classrooms are large, and ill-equipped to focus on each child's individual needs.
My tutoring began in high school, when I tutored younger students in any subject, from Math to English. I learned to love tutoring. I enjoy helping people to realize their full potential.
