I learned to love working with students through this experience, so when I returned to school it seemed natural to become an academic tutor. While working I continued studying and earned my license to practice public accounting in April, 2010 by passing all parts of the CPA exam. During my time at Miami, I was employed by the University as a Supplemental Instructor (SI). As an SI, I provided regularly scheduled, out-of-class sessions in a beginning accounting class and realized that I had the ability to help others learn.
