I received a double major in English and Religion at Presbyterian College. I tutored for three years at Thornwell home for children. I have one year experience working specifically with K5-5th grade. I have two years experience working with multi-grade groups. I am proficient in English as well as moderate in Science and Math, with History being my weakest subject.

As a graduate of Clemson University in South Carolina I had an interest in helping elementary school age children learn the basics of a good education. I earned a Bachelor of Education while attending Clemson University which helped me gain a broad knowledge of basic teaching techniques. I taught fourth grade upon graduation from the university. A Little Bit About Me...

I was home-schooled until the sixth grade with my three brothers. I completed junior high at a private school and then graduated Salutatorian from a public high school. My parents operated a small day care that I worked in with school age children completing homework assignments. I have also worked in a Day Care as a caregiver for small children. To help struggling students, we break down difficult concepts into smaller pieces and help them translate difficult scientific jargon and other vocabulary into "regular English".
