With my graduate-level academic background in pure mathematics, I am well-prepared to guide students through the intricacies of mathematics. Moreover, my specialized training in mathematics education equips me with the pedagogical tools and strategies to effectively engage and support students in their mathematical journey. I have taught mathematics at the community college, university undergraduate, and high school levels (formerly certified to teach in the state of Georgia and province of Ontario).
Having spent 25 years as a software professional (mostly in the financial services industry), I bring a blend of communication skills, real-world problem-solving expertise and teaching/mentoring experience. I understand the practical applications of mathematical concepts and can effectively communicate their relevance to students.
