Experience Summary
I have 20+ years as a highly qualified educator and I still have tons of energy and passion for teaching. I'm friendly, sometimes a little goofy, non-judgmental, and I have a special place in my heart for young folks who struggle in school.
There are 3 options for services: (1) A multi-session plan based on the specific academic needs of the student (2) Help with day-to-day school work involving anything related to Language Arts; reading, research, writing, etc.(3) A hybrid of the two which would include a multi-session plan and on-demand homework help.
Teaching Style
Above all, I make sure what we're learning is relevant to the student and is based off their interests-- not random and isolated. What sticks is what they care about and find interesting.
My Hobbies
Recording music, playing with stained glass and light (I make stained glass lamps), graphic design, do-it-yourself projects, video editing
