Experience Summary
I teach ESL skills to anyone who does not know how to speak or write English. I have experience in this field for many years and I enjoy teaching children or adults. At the present time, I have a client whom I have been working with for a while. He has improved within a month with the letters of the alphabet, counting, recognizing shapes, and colors. My second client, I am teaching him the rules of the road which he did not understand. Once I teach and practice the rules he will be ready to take his driver's license test.
One student I had was in 3rd grade well he did not know his multiplication tables but when I finished teaching them to him, he had improved within a week.
I am a dedicated, reliable, honest tutor, with more than 10+ years of experience in education. I teach children of all ages with a disability or not including autistic. As a special needs bus driver, I have worked with all types of children with disabilities. I received a certificate for a preschool teacher in Smyrna, TN. Valeria, I taught at a church in Cordova, TN at a mother's day out program and the age group was great. I recently worked for a family whose child was autistic and I helped with homework and verbal skills.
My most recent job is teaching a student who is in kindergarten. He did not know the letter of the alphabet, numbers, shapes, and etc. It was hard for him to concentrate on the lesson because for one thing he would be moving in his chair, getting up and down.
I can help any child to get the help they need in school. I charge $24.00 an hour and minutes over is free on me, but I will stay within the limit.
