Experience Summary
I just retired from teaching overseas for the last 6 years as an English Language Learner (ELL) Specialist in an international school. The majority of my in-class support involved developing students' reading skills. Prior to working overseas, I was employed in Alberta for over 15 years, supporting students with learning English and in particular, reading. I have also recently taken a Reading Interventionist program to further develop my skills and to stay current. My passion for seeing these students progress in their skills was continually ignited.
