Experience Summary
I have been learning and studying Mandarin Chinese since I was a child. I grew up attending a Chinese school from the ages of 7 to 17, and I have continued to study Chinese since arriving at the University of Florida. I have taken 3 senior level Chinese courses, receiving an "A" in all, and recently completed a 10-week study abroad program in Chengdu in the Sichuan region of China. I can read and write both Traditional and Simplified characters. I have also visited Taiwan over some summers for an extended period of time, usually around 2 months.
Other Comments
I am currently a Junior at the University of Florida! I would do best teaching students entering Advanced Chinese and below, especially beginners.
