Experience Summary
I am Russian, graduate of the Moscow State University holding a PhD degree in linguistics from the same university. I am a certified teacher of Russian and English as a foreign language with more than 8 years of experience. My last position was at Cambridge Russian school (UK) where I taught Russian and literature to young learners.
Teaching Style
I implement a communicative approach as I believe that language lives within a context and within its cultural environment. I prefer to use several coursebooks in the classroom depending on the quality of explanations and exercises in these books. I also help my students to develop all possible skills of language proficiency, including reading, writing, listening and speaking, with the help of literature, mass media, video and audio.
