Experience Summary
I am an Intervention Specialist in a local school district where I teach 8th graders, but I have experience with working with individuals kindergarten through adults I am certified to teach k-12 where I am Highly Qualified in Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies. I have tutoring experience with dyslexia students. I also have experience working with students with emotional disturbances. Before I became a teacher I worked in the corporate world where I was a trainer.
Teaching Style
I meet my students where they are. I understand all students are individuals and do not learn at the same rate or the same. I am tough, but fair and my students can see through the way they are all treated. I am passionate about helping young people reach their academic potential.
My Hobbies
I love reading, hanging out with my family, and watching my daughter play sports.
