I'm an experienced graphic designer who has worked in an agency setting, as part of an in-house design team, and as a freelancer since 2009. I also have a Bachelors in Communication Design from Parsons The New School for Design and a Masters in Graphic Design Communication from the University of the Arts London. I have experience in website design and development, app design, email design, logo design, branding, print design, vector illustrations, and typography design. This experience also includes custom coding (HTML/CSS) and content management systems like Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress, and Squarespace. Teaching Style
I'm offering graphic design and art tutoring to people of any experience level and any age (from dabbling teenagers to designers who are looking for feedback on their portfolios to retirees looking to gain a new skill/hobby). I don't have any set system to my tutoring practices, as I think each individual student requires a different approach. If you're having trouble with a specific project, I'm more than happy to walk you through the process and give any specific advice. If you're applying to an art or design school and would like me to help, I can critique your portfolio and advise you on what I think showcases your talent in the best light. If you're simply just interested in learning design as a new skill or hobby, I can send you mock assignments. These assignments can be used to test your initial skills so that a constructive critique can be given to improve your skill set and keep you moving in the right direction. I don't believe in any one system of tutoring. Each person has a different case and after having a quick chat about what your goals and interests are, we can collaborate on a plan that works best for your specific needs.
