Experience Summary
My name is Salah, from Taiz, Yemen. I have bachelor degrees in both International Economy and Legislation & Islamic Law. I was an Arabic Fulbright Scholar at Allegheny College in the USA and currently pursuing graduate program in university of Wisconsin Madison.I had the privilege of working at the Contemporary Language Institute in Taiz, Yemen from 2007 to 2014. During this time, I held many positions including executive manager, and teacher of Arabic and English languages. The culmination of my teaching experiences has helped me hone my skills and abilities to better match the needs of the classroom. For example, I am easily able to perceive the needs of individual students and differentiate my teaching style to match their preferred learning style. Moreover, I have extensive experience designing language curriculum and have published several Arabic language text books to assist students in the learning process as well as introduce new methods of teaching to fellow educators.
Teaching Style
I am an Arabic Language educator and tutor with ample teaching experience -- more than 7 years of experience -- with excellent skills in tutoring the Arabic language extremely well, easily and stress free. I am a native Arabic speaker originally from Yemen. I have taught Arabic language courses at Contemporary Language Institute and I also have worked as a linguist and translator at the same institution. I have an ample experience as an Arabic Language Linguist and Arabic-English Translator and have worked as a freelance linguist and translator with the Swedish center. I teach students of all ages and I am extremely kind and patient especially with young children. The majority of my students are college age students who can be beginners, intermediate or advanced in learning the Arabic language of which I help them with mastering the Arabic language from A to Z. I also prepare a portion of my students for a number of Arabic language tests -- a variety of tests including speech and conversation for MSA and the Middle East main dialects -- that are demanded by the U.S. government to pass and secure Arabic language related jobs here with the State Department or overseas in Arabic speaking countries. As for my personality, I have an extremely pleasant and a very positive attitude and care in teaching my students and encouraging them to learn and to reach their goals in learning the Arabic language. I also put my students' interests first and accommodate them in every possible way and to my best ability. I always do my best to accommodate my students for the dates and the times they prefer.
My Hobbies

In 2013, I was an ambassador for One Young World where I served on regional committee in Middle East and North African region to connect Arab young people to OYW and created opportunities for Arab young people to connect to the world, and addressed the most pressing issues in Global Business, Human Rights, Peace & Conflict, Leadership & Government, Sustainable Development and Education. In 2014, I was an International Youth Delegate for World Conference on Youth UN. I enjoy reporting on cultural, economical and political issues, as well as the freedom of young Yemeni people. I believe that we are the present, the future and we will be the great past of this world.
