Experience Summary
Completed three semesters of calculus, differential equations, linear math, statistics in college. Worked as a math tutor for the Department of Development Education at University of Alaska - Fairbanks for three years. Tutored algebra, some trig, some statistics. Helped students understand concepts and complete homework assignments from textbooks and a variety of computer based programs including Alex and WebAssign.
Teaching Style
If possible, I try to make the math relatable to the person - do they like to build? cook? etc.
