Experience Summary
As an experienced tutor, trainer and teacher for students from six to 60, my background includes tutoring in reading, composition, spelling, and social studies for grade, middle and high-school students as well as professional sales and product training for adults. I enjoy working with students of all ages, but especially enjoy middle-school students who desire help with reading, writing, social studies and American history.
Teaching Style
I work with each student, their parents, and, when necessary, their teachers, to develop personalized study plans based on areas of concern as well as short and long-term goals and objectives. Depending on the students, we will use a variety of tools including individual instruction, current assignments and worksheets to insure progress and success in meeting daily, weekly, and quarterly goals.
My Hobbies
My hobbies include reading, travelling to historic sites, politics, history, cooking, Jazzercise, and interior decoration.

My favorite subjects are reading, English, history, and social studies and I continue to enjoy research and learning. It has been my pleasure to work with students who want to improve their grades and their skills, with the hope that they, too, will develop a life-long passion for learning.
