Experience Summary
I have a Finance degree from UTEP. I am in the
process of going back to get my Teacher's Certification.
I would like to teach Elementary Math.
I have enjoyed Math since I was 8 years old.
As a matter of fact, I used to calculate
batting averages of Major League Baseball Players.
What a Math nerd!
Teaching Style
I would use a positive, reassuring style.
Giving as much praise(high 5's) and having patience
when there is difficulty comprehending. I believe in
quizzing the material that has been studied to show
progress. A passing grade of 75 is required to
move on to the next subject.
My Hobbies
I enjoy watching all sports. I participate in a
Co-ed kickball league. This is fun!
I also enjoy playing poker with my family.&
Other Comments
My goal is for a student to comprehend whatever
Math is being tackled. If he or she does not
feel like they have comprehended the subject
at task...I will not feel satisfied.
Don't worry about me clock watching!
Going over 5 or 10 minutes is okay.
