Experience Summary
I am currently an early childhood educator/elementary school educator. I have over ten years of teaching experience. My expertise is in early childhood education; however, I also taught elementary grades. I teach all subjects on the elementary school level. Trained in reading programs such as the "Orton Gillingham Reading Program," "Spalding Education Reading Program," and "Fundations Reading Program." Experience using GoMath, enVision, Everyday Mathematics, and Teachers College Reading and Writing Project. I have used various math, reading, science, and social studies curriculum to teach these core subjects. I used multiple teaching strategies and methods to enhance instruction and learning. I am also certified to teach special education. I am currently working to obtain my ENL (English As a New Language) and literacy certification. I enjoy teaching and encouraging students to be lifelong learners who love to learn.
Teaching Style
I believe that all students can learn. Each student is different and as a teacher I need to teach in ways that the student can understand.
