Teaching Style
I like to use a hands-on approach to teaching and really get the students involved in their own learning. Students must want to learn the material to be successful with the subject. Math is useful in all aspects of real-life and can be both challenging, and.... FUN!
My Hobbies
I am the coach of two National Championship High School Orienteering teams - Parkview High School and Brookwood High School. Orienteering is a competitive map and compass race open to people of all ages. I spend a lot of time teaching others how to compete in this sport.
