Experience Summary
I have tutored for a non-profit organization, Life Christian Church, as an after school program on Wednesdays free to the community. I have also taught English and History to home school students. One of the biggest accomplishments was watching of the students who detested writing papers because he did not believe he could do it, grow into a man who is not writing weekly papers confidently. His father told me once, his is writing papers better than he ever would have at that age. I have also taught youth ministry for over 10 years. Although this may not include educational studies, the techniques are similar and my young people grasp some challenging principles through it. Call or text me at 760-522-0862.
Teaching Style
I am a very interactive teacher. I want feedback so I can see the progress the student is making. If they are not getting something, I make adjustments and change tactics. I teach tot he student(s). Everyone learns differently. And sometimes by the time I get to them student, it has nothing to do with their ability but more their confidence because of previously bad experiences. Then its more just showing the student he or she can accomplish this. And I aim do have fun while we do it!
