Experience Summary
I am a special education teacher with 6 credit hours to go until I have earned my Master in Adaptive Special Education. I student taught 5th grade, was a middle school special education para for the remainder of that school year once I earned my Bachelor's then transitioned into 2-4th grade adaptive Math, and all Language Arts. I enjoy using visuals and technology to reach students, keep them engaged, motivated, and enrich their learning. I enjoy teaching about social studies, history, art, and other subjects that I believe create a better rounded student.
Teaching Style
I enjoy discovering student's learning styles and connecting with them where they are. I encourage problem solving, accountability, goal setting, as well as setting rewards when they have achieved their goals or for effort.
My Hobbies
Spending time with my family and our 3 pugs, exercising, and arts and crafts, I have a documentary obsession and enjoy learning about history, and other cultures for the fun of it.

I believe every student CAN succeed, for some it just looks a little different.
