Experience Summary
I tutored students throughout law school in various subjects including, but not limited to, writing. Since opening my own legal writing, researching and editing business, I have assisted attorneys and lay people develop their own writing skills. I am a clasically trained actress who performed in several off Broadway shows in New York City. Although I majored in theatre performance, I excelled in creative writing, with an emphasis on poetry. In high school, I placed out of college English, enabling me to take nothing but creative writing classes. I am a grammar and punctuation nazi with excellent reading comprehension skills. I excel at testing. As an actress/attorney, I have become a fabulous public speaker and would love to help others become comfortable with that skill, as it is the number one fear in America.
Teaching Style
Because of law school, I teach mostly by asking questions. This enables students to feel proud of figuring things out on their own. Unlike my law school professors, however, I am sweet and nurturing.
My Hobbies
I am a voracious reader and I write poetry and short stories.
