Experience Summary
I'm certified in both elementary general and special education. I've taught for the past 19 years. I have my masters in educational administration and will soon be a certified educational diagnostician. My favorite subjects are reading and math. I can tutor/teach writing but it's not my favorite subject. My philosophy is that every child can learn but our job as teachers is to figure out the best way to meet their learning needs. If it's not fun I don't want to do it and the students feel the same way. Technology: I create district trainings using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Camtasia. Would love to work with adults needing to learn computer skills. I'm currently the "go to" person in the office when anyone needs assistance.
