Experience Summary
I am currently enrolled at Stephen F. Austin State University as a Deaf Education major. I have one year left of school, which will consist of two semesters of student teaching in the area of my choice. I have already completed more than 100 hours of observation, volunteering, and instruction in the public school system. I have a specialization in American History and Mathematics. I have also completed four semesters of American Sign Language courses and an interpreting course. I have several years experience in tutoring and grading at the college level in the areas of history, mathematics, and American Sign Language. Additionally, I have several years experiences working with students with disabilities. I have also earned a TASC certification in sign language.
