Experience Summary
I have been tutoring since I was in high school and have continued tutoring elementary students in the areas of math, reading, vocabulary, social studies, and science into my adulthood. I have a bachelors degree in Education from Arizona State University. I have worked in the school environment for the last year as a teaching assistant in a high risk special education classroom. I am currently earning my teaching certificate so that I can teach in the next year.
Teaching Style
I am very hands on in the areas of math and science. I enjoy teaching children to think outside the box when learning. I teach students to use colors, pictures, mnemonic devices to help remember important steps, people, dates, etc.
My Hobbies
I enjoy teaching color guard at the high school level.

I am currently a substitute for the school that I will be teaching at for the next school year.
